Having noted with great interest the result of the first stage consultation on modernising and improving employment relations, the ÃÛÌÒ´«Ã½welcomes the Commission's acceptance on the need for more information and research related to economically dependent workers in the second stage consultation. The ÃÛÌÒ´«Ã½also considers that a sectoral approach would be preferable and that some principles of telework cannot apply to mobile workers.The ÃÛÌÒ´«Ã½therefore recommends the exclusion of transport workers from any proposal related to telework.
